The 10. International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience (ICON X) has been organized by the Brain Reseach Society-Turkey between September 1st-5th, 2008 in Bodrum-Turkey. The meeting with 550 registered participants, from which 20% were from Turkey and 40% were students and young reserachers, has been evaluated to be very successful by most participants.

The conference was supported by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK). The financial support from both institutions were completely used to facilitate the participation of students and young researchers. In addition to the supports from these institutions, the meeting was further sponsored by pharmaceutical and biomedical companies.

The abstracts of the ICON X, in which the participation was almost twofold larger than the earlier ICON meetings, will be published in the electronic journal "Frontiers of Neuroscience, Conference Series". You may download the abstract book of the ICON X and get further information about the conference  at www.iconxbodrum.org . The video recordings of some of the keynote and symposium talks will be soon available at the conference web site.
